Opening Day is Just Around the Corner: Saturday, May 7 and open EVERY Saturday through October 30!

Saturday, May 7, we officially open our gates to welcome our 2011 season. It’s just around the corner and we’ve got the full list of vendors for day 1 locked and ready to go. Check them out, spread the love and drop them words of encouragement on our FB!

We are starting the season off with the Lower Feast Side Food Festival brought to you by the LES Bid as part of the New Museum’s Festival of Ideas going on downtown all weekend. That means half of the market will be devoted to the most incredible food and the other half will be filled with a shopper’s paradise–vintage, estate jewelry, lamps, watches, skincare, accessories, you name it, we probably got it.

WHAT: The Hester Street Fair hosts mini food festival on opening day! The Lower Feast Side in partnership with the LES BID and the New Museum Festival of Ideas will be celebrating the new and returning all stars of The Hester Street Fair. Plus, market will be open for shoppers looking for special hand made and collected goods.
WHEN: Opening Day—Saturday, May 7, 2001 (10am-6pm). Hester Street Fair open ONLY SATURDAYS. As always, FREE TO THE PUBLIC.
WHERE: The Hester Street Fair located on the corner of Hester and Essex Streets. F, J, M, Z stops to Delancey and East Broadway.
